 : Getting Here
Istria, at the heart of Europe, can easily be reached by all means of transport. The public transport network in Istria, with its trains and post-buses, means that anyone arriving by plane or train can get around the entire region with ease.

Getting to Istria
Pula International Airport 7 km from Pula is Istria's major airport, serving as the entry point for most of Istria's visitors. All major flight companies (budget as well) have in and off season flights directly to here.

Finding accommodations is easy in Istria. You'll find everything here from historic hotels and boutiques, to bed and breakfasts, rental condos, and luxury resorts. You'll find more than 30,000 hotel rooms all over Istria

Anytime of year is a good time to visit Istria. Summer, between April and November, is warmer and drier (average temperature is 25˚-35˚C) while winter, between December and March, is a bit cooler (10˚- 18˚C). Trade winds keep things comfortable year-round.

To really experience all that Istria offers, you should consider renting a car. Many visitors also enjoy taking bus tours to conveniently explore the Peninsula. Shuttles, taxis, and public transport are available in every town.
